As you all know, I am a traveler and I like to travel beautiful places. Cox’s Bazar is among of them. This writing describes how this journey went.
I landed on Dhaka from JFK to Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The airport was busy and did not have the modernization or perfect time schedule. However, needless to say, I managed to go from there to Mohakhali, Dhaka to my brother’s home.
My trip to Cox’s Bazaar was planned with my cousins. It was 25 March 2015, and we started at 10:30 pm from Dhaka. We took our own vehicle and needless to say we made lots of fun.we sang
We hired a big Noah Microbus and meanwhile the journey we sang songs one after another & made sarcastic comments against each other and so on. On the Way, we saw two trucks crashed each other as a road mishap. That should give you an idea how trips can be cruel sometimes!
Middle of Way We took gas and stopped some time. We refreshed and we took some. We reached Chittagong at 4.30 in the morning and we went to my Uncle’s office NGO Forum. There was a good arrangement for taking rest, as it was a tiring journey. We took two and half hours rest, took Our breakfast and started our journey to Cox’s Bazaar around 7.30.
Here is a 5sec of the videos we took:
It took us about three and half hours to reach Cox’s Bazaar. Immediately We checked in a full-furnished rental flat and took rest, took lunch and then went straight to the beach around 2 pm. Me, my brothers and my cousins enjoyed the most. At the beach, we Swam with very big waves clashing against us, played Water polo etc. After two hours, We left the beach, back to flat, and took shower. After having some snacks again We went back to the beach, there was an open concert celebrating Independence Day. Around 9 pm we returned and had our dinner in a restaurant. After watching TV we went to sleep.
Next morning we went to the ‘Enani beach’. It was 20 km far from Kolatuly. At that beach, there were lots of stones and pebbles. We had lots of fun there. However, the dangerous thing was that it was the time for low tide. Still, we had enough courage to go too far. There we learned a bit of swimming. We enjoyed our most valuable time in that beach. After that we changed our clothes and had to Walk the whole Sandy extreme hot beach. Our leg was frying as we were Walking the big sandy Way. We did not know that the sand could be so hot like anything at noontime. Then a thought came in Our minds that “No pain No gain”. Finally reached our Vehicle and my cousin Said, “If anyone Would give an egg in that burning hot Sand it would be fried within a minute” We came back to the flat, took our lunch and watched TV. Around 4.30pm we went to the city area, there we went to the markets to buy some souvenir.
In a market there were lots of toys and my youngest brother Priom saw it and wanted them all. My father bought few for him but he was not satisfied. We then returned to the flat, there was another interesting thing happened that Dad & uncle cooked “Vhuna Khichuri”, beef & chicken roast etc and that makes another fun like a picnic. After having Our dinner we went to the ‘Seagull beach’ with some soft drinks & Ice cream. There we saw how the tides increased in the high tides and how the tides decreased in the low tides. The Wave coming to the shore with a big Sound, I cannot express how the Sound was but it was Some exceptional experience and the Wind, Wahoo! There we took many pictures of “Night adventures at sea”. In the midnight we returned and fell fast asleep.
The next morning was the day to return Dhaka. We took breakfast and went to the nearest beach for the last time. We thought that again after a year or two we would be in Cox’s Bazaar, so let us have fun at the beach for the last time. Then we packed our bags and started our journey to Dhaka.
On the way, we stopped at Safari Park for some adventures. We took lots of pictures of the animals and we also went to the Safari Park Museum. I thought that haw happy I had started my journey, and now sadly we had to end our very exciting and memorable journey. We reached Dhaka at 11.00 pm. It was one of the best journeys I ever had. I will never forget it. I think of a chance to look for a more thrilling and adventurous journey. I love Cox’s Bazaar.
